Basic computing skills for the hearing impaired

 

The Internet has made today's computers into powerful communication tools that can help you stay in touch with friends, family and work contacts. This course provides an introduction to some of these tools.

Course outline and learning objectives

By the end of this course you will know how to:

• Chat online using Instant Messengers
• Send and receive emails using Hotmail
• Send faxes from your PC
• Use TypeTalk from your PC

Previous experience required

This course is suitable for beginners with no previous experience. Parts of the course are aimed at those with hearing impairments
