The technology required to produce music has changed completely. Most modern recorded music is now produced using computers, either PC or Macintosh.
But the technological skills for getting a job in the music industry in turn requires people to be accurate in their own reading and writing skills, and you also have to write good CVs.
So we have produced this short course. There is a section showing different options to progress onto.
Course outline and learning objectives
The course gives a beginner’s introduction to communication skills related to the music industry.
By the end of this course you will know how to:
- Explain the functions of music making equipment
- Prepare your own publicity materials
- Create a C.V.
- Search the Internet to find answers to your questions
- Find more courses to develop your skills
Previous experience required
You will need:
- Level one English and communication skills
- The ability to study on your own
- Basic ICT skills, including using the Internet, sending emails, and attaching files
